Your oriental rugs are an important part of your home. They may be heirlooms, gifts, or just an addition you couldn't do without. - Pre-inspection : We examine the rugs for damage, torn fringe, or discoloration and pet deposits.
We note any of these to the customer, and ask customer to sign a pre-inspection release form.
- Pre-vacuum : Using a specialized machine, we aggressively agitate the back of the rug to remove as much soil as possible before the actual cleaning process.
- Set the dyes : Spraying a product on the rug and brushing it in helps to set the dyes to ward against bleeding and dye migration.
- Pre-condition : We apply a pre-conditioner to loosen the oily soil that is trapped and cannot be loosened by mechanical means.
- Agitation : Next we brush the pre-conditioner to loosen the soil, and with a rotary scrubber we agitate the remaining soil and prepare for flushing.
- Flushing : We rinse the rug by flushing the rug with soft water (free from chlorine and contaminants). Water comes in one end and is pumped out the other in a river-like effect.
- Extraction : We place the rug in a different area to extract the majority of the water and prepare for drying.
- Drying : The rug is placed in a temperature-controlled drying room for 24-36 hours.
- Fringe : We meticulously clean the fringe, removing any embedded soil that remains, being careful not to distort the fibers.

- Post-vacuum and inspection : We lay the rug out and vacuum the loose fibers the remain from the washing process, ensuring proper care has been taken to clean your valuable rug.
